ABRUPT (USA / San Francisco) - September - October 2010

ABRUPT is from the San Francisco Bay Area and consists of Mike (drums), Wyatt (Bass), Sam (Guitar/Vocals), and Heather (Vocals). Mike, Sam, and Wyatt had been playing, recording, and touring together for years in a band called SCURVY DOGS who broke up due to a quitting singer. The three decided to start another HC band and grabbed Heather who was just getting out of a band called MACHINE'S AGENDA. Abrupt had our first show St Patrick's day of 2007. We recorded 9 songs with Greg Wilkenson at Earhammer Studio's in Oakland CA. This became our 12" self titled LP out on INSPIRED BY ANGST RECORDS (the CD version is now available through the band). We did a west coast tour March 2009, and half a European tour September of 2009 where Sam had his appendix butchered by Spaniards for the other half. New 7" titled "My Crematorium" coming out on BURNT BRIDGES RECORDS early 2010 and our demo with lyrics is downloadable from this profile.
